I am a professional coach working with clients on all aspects of personal development and personal growth.
The focus varies from client to client - it may concentrate on self-confidence or self-belief. Or it may centre on stress or pressure from others. You may be struggling with new difficult challenges or apparently impossible expectations. Or perhaps there are just too many 'priorities' demanding your attention.
You may feel that the odds are stacked against you and that there are just too many obstacles or barriers in your way. Maybe you're running low on self-respect or self-esteem.
On the other hand, you may simply feel that it's time to take your self-development and personal skills to the next level.

I start from the premise that each of us has all the resources that we will ever need.
The problem is that many of our in-built skills lie dormant and unused - locked away within us. Or, perhaps, some external force has knocked us off course and disabled some of these resources and skills.
To survive and be successful in the modern world, we need all of our in-built resources just as much as our professional skills or our academic qualifications.
My role is to help you to see yourself from a new angle; to help you to locate the resources you need; to help you to see that progress is possible; to help you develop your own solution and to help you to implement your solution.
I will not tell you what to do or not do - nor will I lead you in some pre-determined direction - nor impose anything upon you. I believe that you will find me caring, considerate, reflective and accepting.

I was born in Edinburgh in 1956 and I grew-up in a small town in the Scottish Borders.
I have spent more 30 years with my partner, living on the outskirts of London. For 22 of those years I worked for one of the U.K.'s largest companies (in assorted management roles).
People tell me that I'm a 'people person'. During the latter years of working in the corporate sector, I realised that my interest lies in the 'mission statement of the individual' rather than the committee-honed corporate variety.
I met Charles Bentley, one of the U.K.'s leading and longest-established coaches. After undergoing his training programme, and with his guidance and encouragement, I took up coaching professionally. It has been like coming home.

Facetoface sessions usually take place in central London, during normal office hours. Each session lasts around 90 minutes.
Telephone coaching has worked successfully around the world for many years. The mechanics are very simple you call me, at a standard telephone number, or via Skype, at a mutually agreed time and we talk for about 60 minutes.
However, where at all possible, I only offer telephone coaching following at least one face-to-face session and where we agree that it would be appropriate.
Other options if none of the above sounds quite right for you, please send me an
email
I'll be happy to consider your proposal.
My price list, in Pounds Sterling (GBP), is very straightforward:
• for telephone sessions
· a single 60 minute session = £50
· a series of 4 x 60min sessions = £185
• for facetoface sessions
· a single 90 minute session = £95
· a series of 4 x 90min sessions = £365
